Soft, feminine and dreamily floaty, jumped straight to mind.
Psssst I’ll let you into a teeny tiny secret I’ve kept….
I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek of this fabulous collection when I headed south for the opening of Bohemian Traders Boutique at Erina, back in June.
Oh yes I did – little old me felt very special. Since then I’ve burst to holla from the rooftops, to tell you all about it (not that I would have of course) but I had a slight problem.
When I viewed the collection, there was a plethora of stunning threads before my eyes (in my defence, it was the morning after the opening and I was however, filling my face with a delicious portion of avo and feta on toast at the time) that my mind must have gone into a tailspin of epic proportions and erased all the beauty I had been privileged to see, the very moment I left.
Good job I’m not a spy – I would be bloody useless 😉
Fast forward 2 months; obviously because I
have a memory like a sieve was super excited, I had completely forgotten just how fabulous the collection was. So when the new Bohemian Traders website was launched last week, I was literally blown away.
It all came flooding back, like one of those déjà vu moments – the delightful parcel of Bohemian Traders goodies I received in the mail also helped jog my case of amnesia too.
Yes beauties I felt like I was seeing everything for the first time, but with a distant weird flashback thing happening!
How good is the opening video btw?
So much loveliness – there is truly is something for everyone.
Anyway, I hear the question on your lips ‘What do you remember then Bev?’
Well its funny you should ask 😉 …when Em (BT guru/designer and general goddess) first showed me what she had in store for SS 16, all I could remember (except general colours and the feel of fabrics, yes I adore fabric) was three things:
The drop crotch pants, off the shoulder pieces (‘very predictable Bev, I hear you say’) and the linen.
I do understand I was obviously in a drop crotch/off the shoulder /colour/fabric haze, but how could I have forgotten the Blossom Days fabric?????
I don’t know how I dare call myself a fabric loving fashion blogger 😉
Thinking of awarding myself a new title..The Amnesiastic Fashion Blogger – see what I did there? I’m very enthusiastic but with a shocking memory!

Now you all know how much I love my dresses. In particular, I’m partial to a maxi (especially in summer). I love how dresses are a complete grab and go outfit. But sometimes you can fall in love with the visual of a dress but have difficulty with the fit.
This cami and maxi skirt are a fabulous alternatives and they also give your wardrobe lots of options as separates too.
Some of us have fuller busts and wider hips/thighs. Fitted dresses can be a nightmare over all of my curves. Or maybe you have a smaller bust and bigger thighs.
I love that Bohemian Traders have covered all bases on the Blossom Days print.
Blossom Days Spring Dress – sits on the knee with gorgeous short sleeves and a fabulous V back with tassels.
Blossom Days Maxi Kimono – maxi with wrap style tie fastening with V neckline and short sleeves (yes girls I LOVE).
Blossom Days Beach Soft Short – for the fabulous legged girls among us…wear with the cami for a touch of fake playsuit action.
Blossom Days Oversized Soft Wrap – the flexible alternative when you prefer a hint of pattern.
I love the simplicity of this print. It’s fresh and oh so easy to wear.
The waistline is made for comfort too, elasticated at the back with clever little buttons and a placket at the front. You can choose to show as little or as much flesh as you are comfortable with.
One this is for sure these lightweight cotton pieces are perfect for SS 16
Oh just before I go… can I just gush about the emerald-green in the dreamer dress.
It now comes with a belt and more length – said belt also works around ones neck!
Have you had a chance to browse the new Bohemian Traders Blossom Days yet? Any pieces on your wish list? Or have you already made a cheeky purchase? Spill the beans 😉
