Birthday Girl Giveaway FRANKiE4

This Friday I will celebrate being another year wiser.

It will involve champagne, cake and loved ones.

My nearest and dearest.

…but there will be one, very special person missing – Beckie.

She is on the other side of the world…mostly awake when I am asleep, and asleep when I am awake.

If all goes to plan, Beckie will graduate from Uni this December, so this was her last opportunity to fly back to England (her trip is for 4 WHOLE weeks) to visit family and friends, before she starts her graduate Law position and the real world takes over – how will she cope with no more Uni holidays?

On Monday night we had a big Skype catch-up, it was wonderful and just what we both needed…1 week down 3 to gonot that I’m counting of course 😉

I caught up on her adventures, and revelled in her loveliness for as long as I could, before she had to dash.

Even though I miss her and it will be the first time, that she won’t be around for my birthday, she is having fun and that makes me happy.

She is busy making memories to keep forever and that is priceless…plus, I’m sure we will find a moment to celebrate together as soon as she gets home.

Anyway, as Beckie is not here, who fancies celebrating with me?

Because I have a pair of FRANKiE4 Janelle Loafers to giveaway to one lucky Iris May Style reader.

Birthday Girl Giveaway FRANKi4

Janelle * FRANKiE4 $219.95 available in 3 colours (subject to availability)

I know exciting eh?

In case you’ve never heard of FRANKi4 – let me just fill you in…

FRANKiE4 footwear designer Caroline McCulloch is also a podiatrist and physiotherapist.

She is a busy Mumma and wife, with a mantra that explains why she won’t settle for second best when it comes to her feet.

“Women no longer need to compromise! I’m saving soles in style – for myself and women everywhere!”

Now before we go any further – let’s just address my lifestyle and of course, my passion for wearing heels.

I know, I know. My heels are never far from my feet!

But, I’ve set myself a little challenge. I need to be a bit kinder to my these feet of mine.

They serve me well and I punish them regularly.

I walk around most day’s at Country Road, in some sort of heel.

By now, I guess everyone know’s I struggle to wear flat shoes, right?

I’m lucky, 75% of the time, my feet feel fabulous – the other 25% not so good.

I love my heels because of the balance and leg lengthening they offer my pair shaped ass and butt.

But what about my poor feet?

So when I was offered a pair of FRANKiE4 loafers to try, I decided to take up the challenge and introduce a flaty, to my shoe party.

The first thing that impressed me about the FRANKiE4 label was the choice of insoles supplied in every shoe box.

You can make the shoe fit uniquely to you and YOUR feet.

Its like the shoe version of ‘pimping your ride’ – pure customisation for the feet.

Birthday Girl Giveaway FRANKiE4

Genius right?

After all, we are all different.

When you open the box, it’s filled with lots of choices, choices that make the shoes work for YOU.

And I, for one, am pretty impressed.

Just think how much your feet will love you when you’re dashing after the kidlets, or standing on your feet all day at work.

Running for the bus or the train on your morning commute. Or even jet-setting off somewhere exotic.

Because with these beauties, you can combine comfort and style, which in my book, is the perfect combination.

Ok, so lets’ get this shoe party started…

  • Sophisticated Mumma

Oh my how did I miss this before? Been so very busy but I’m glad I stopped by just in time for the competition closure as I’ve got such sore inflamed tootsies right now and I can’t bear to wear any of my shoes. I’m torn between the navy (practical) and the gorgeous gold ones. But practicality prevails and I’d wear the navy ones with skinny jeans and maybe a white shirt…I love the preppy look. Would be a fabulous weekend outfit xx

  • Marie

This would looks awesome with jeans and a cool flowy top!

  • Dakota Morgan

I would love them in black to go with my winter wardrobe of either jeans or leggings with a tunic or bottom up top.

  • Myree Isbester

I love Frankie 4 footwear. I have 2 pairs and the latest addition is a pair of Jamie boots Which I love, so comfortable and style great with my jeans. I would love a pair of Janelle loafers for casual comfort to wear with pants and shorts in the summer. I love the gold, just perfect

  • Teneal Koppenol

I would love love love Janelle in black! She would go with so many outfits, but for her first outing I’d wear with my black skinny jeans, a light wash chambray shirt half tucked in, a long silver chain with pendant and silver bangles. Finished of course with black sunnies and a black tote bag. They would be getting a serious workout in my wardrobe!

  • Ann

It would look awesome with my dark jeans and a cute pink top!

  • Sophie

Frankie4 where have you been all my life, well the past 6
months at least, you are what I have been searching for!

It’s been nearly 6 months since I injured my foot, rupturing
my plantar fascia playing netball, and I am completely over wearing my sneakers
all the time as my foot slowly heals. I miss my ‘heels’ but reading your post I
have a feeling that Frankie4 and I are about to fall madly in love, the
beginning of a long and beautiful romance, my “sole” mate!

The options are endless but to start with the Dark Navy
loafer will be a match made in heaven with my blue denims, navy trench and Breton
stripe top. My feet will be enveloped in
both comfort and style, especially those tassels. I will be finally out of the style rut I have
been trapped in for the past couple months! Thanks so much Bev for bringing
this fabulous shoe range to our attention.

  • Shazillas

The dark navy Janelle’s will be stepping out the door with a navy jacket adorned with gold buttons, red fringed scarf and a refreshing white and black striped top. Completing my parisian look.

  • Jacqui

I would choose the dark navy, how very versatile there shoes can be! Navy is a very smart and classic colour. I love to pair with the crisp white shirt or chambray collar popping out of a gorgeous knit. I’ m in Melbourne so these would serve me well…I would need to finish it off with a classic navy Sportscraft trench. I’m loving them already!!!

  • Brooke Howman

What can I say but They come in navy! Yay, they’d go with anything and everything in my wardrobe and be comfortable to wear everyday to work ( I’m a teacher and don’t sit down!)

  • Gemma Westacott Blair

I think it’s safe to say I’d live in a pair of black Janelle’s – perfect for work, the school run or just running after my 2yr old! Day-to-day I’d use them to dress up my jeans, styling them with a slouchy striped top, statement bright necklace for a pop of colour and my cosy waterfall cardigan on cooler days.

  • Claire

Love the style of these flats, I would go with the Navy. I will style them Gwyneth Paltrow style with my French navy jeans and my new white cape…. A great combo for my lifestyle of Hamptons and Paris (Positive Visualisations) or maybe for looking chic when I next meet my girlfriends.

Happy Birthday wishes from your style stalker.

    C xxxx

  • Jane

I would wear the dark navy suede loafers (good choice above Bev!!) with skinny dark denim jeans, crisp white shirt and my favourite chunky silver accessories for classic style. You can’t go wrong with navy or white shirts. And if it’s comfortable too…..perfection!! Happy birthday!

  • My shoerobe is full of black shoes but no navy and I think it’s a whole the needs to be filled. Navy I think has become the new black for versatility – it’s perfect for all seasons. Winter it would be perfect with jeans and a cozy knit, autumn and pair of nude pants, white tee and checked scarf, Spring and who can past a pair of rolled up white jeans and striped tee and finally for summer pair red shorts and crisp white shirt. The Janelle loafer in navy is the perfect all year round shoe.

  • Julie McKinnon

Gold please! As a retired lady , I have a winter “uniform” of pants, long-sleeved tops and comfortable flat shoes. These shoes would add sparkle to my day.

  • Jan Wild

I would love to go for gold but being such a classics girl really and wanting to be super stylish in Paris I would choose these fabulous shoes in black to go back with jeans but also to dress up with my Sacha Drake black pants and top. Add a leopard print scarf and some jewellery and Paris here I come.
Have a fabulous birthday and I am sure your daughter will be with you in spirit (or champagne).

  • Linda

I would wear cute white shorts and a black tank top

  • Samantha Keogh

Love this outfit on you Bev. Thanks for sharing. For the ultimate in Podiatrist approved Euro chic style I would wear my dark navy loafers with dark blue skinnies jeans, crisp, white shirt , blazer and a splash of colour and personality in a scarf.

  • Bec Nelson

I adore the gold metallic loafers. I would probably wear them most with my erin louise gold spot jumper and a pair of jeans, casual with a bit of sparkle. Very hard to choose as all 3 colours would look amazing.

  • Love this outfit Bev! A comfy shoe that looks great is always a winner for me. Tick! x

    • This is my first pair of FRANKiE4’s V – they are the ultimate in comfort – just trying to source a pair of the sneakers (which are like gold dust) xx

  • Vesy Mihajlovic

Definitely the Navy loafer which I can wear with my super dark navy skinny jeans with my crisp white shirt and leather jacket or my white and navy striped midi dress with my gorgeous slouchy boyfriend cardigan plus scarf. Love the tassels.

  • Ingrid – fabulous and fun life

I’d love the gold metallic leather Janelle loafers. I’d style them with my white jeans and pink top or maybe my blue jeans and white jumper with gold spots on it would work well also!

  • Lisa Mckenzie

I love the Frankie4 range of shoes I would pick the navy loafers as they would go with all my jeans I would style them with a faboulous cape and a lovely scarf and my favourite jeans my knee replacement leg is really painful most of the time so it would thank me wearing comfortable shoes!
I love you in this outfit and I’m sorry Beckie won’t be here this Bithday but you’re right she is marking wonderful memories and I’m sure she will buy you something a little special Xx

    • Lisa the FRANKiE4’s would be just perfect for you1 Good Luck darling…counting the days until Beckie is home! xx

  • Danielle Armstrong

Yes the navy and black are classics, but the GOLD!! They will team perfectly with jeans & leopard print top in cooler weather, then look fabulous with casual shirt dressed as the weather warms up!

  • Happy birthday for Friday, Bev! And wish you an awesome reunion with Beckie in a few weeks… x

    • Thank you so much darling…I’m counting the days until Beckie is home! Mwah xx

  • Suzie

Navy for me! Love a navy loafer with jeans and a white shirt. I’ll also be celebrating along with you on Friday as I too am celebrating my birthday! All the kids are around this year but 4 years ago my youngest was in Europe when I celebrated my 50th so I understand how you feel. I’ll have thinking of you in Melbourne when I sip my champers here with my nearest and dearest. Cheers and happy birthday to you Bev!

  • Angela

A navy Janelle would mean I finally get out of my frankie4 Ellies . They are just soooo comfortable all other shoes in my wardrobe have been neglected.

  • Cindy F

Would love to be able to style these great looking shoes with my jeans and wear to death every weekend!

  • Ooh navy! So hard to find navy shoes. Love navy so I’m going for the navy loafers. They would be so great with so many things. Right now I’m thinking khaki jeans & navy jacket with either print or plain top underneath, can’t decide, possibly even just a white T to keep it casual. Oh! Or grey, pink and navy! I have some nice grey check pants with a soft white, grey, pink print blouse and the navy loafers. For those days at work when I just can’t cope with heels. Perfect! Thanks Bev :*

  • Leesa

Great shoes, Bev! I would wear the Janelle (my sister’s name) Loafers in Navy Blue with jeans/pants and a comfy top for work and play. Being on my feet as a Teacher Aide and a busy mum of two, they’d be so comfy and assist with me in providing extra support for those awful bunions I’ve inherited!? Thank you. Leesa xo

  • Gabrielle

Fabulous competition Bev! I would wear the loafers – gold of course – with my CR high waisted poplin pants, a crisp white button down shirt, draped scarf in warm colours and lots of gold jewellery. Best accessory would be a big smile because my feet aren’t aching! X
